Georgie Buses UK
Finds the nearest bus stops to you wherever you are in the UK and tells you how to walk to them. Find out scheduled bus times. When you are on the bus, GeorgiePhone speaks the names of bus stops as you approach them so you know when to get off and helps reduce the stress of bus travel. Internet and GPS connections are needed.
Designed for people with hearing loss who can't lip-read. Speak a sentence and show the phone to the hard of hearing person who can read what you have said in clear large words on the screen. When a vulnerable person activates the assistance button on a GeorgiePhone, the carer or friend receives a text message containing a map pin-pointing precisely where the help is needed. The friend/carer is able to speak to and reassure the GeorgiePhone user that help is coming quickly.
